A helpful article on how to talk to your kids about the coronavirus from "Focus on the Family".

March 14, 20200
Dear Parents,

As MBCLA’s church activities are on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the children’s ministry would like to come alongside you to help your child stay grounded in God's Word.

Some things you can do during this COVID-19 outbreak and the closing down of church activities:

  1. Access digital Bible lesson content

MBCLA uses LifeWay's teaching material. LifeWay is offering LifeWay Kids (grades 1-6) and LifeWay Preschool (age 2-kindergarten) for free during this difficult time. This will allow you to continue teaching your child God's Word at home.

  1. Talk to your children

Talk to your children about this situation. This article, from Focus on the Family, "How to Help Your Kids Process Tragic News" gives helpful information on how to help your children deal with difficult situations such as the one we are in as well as gives pointers on how different ages may respond.
